Please pray for my daughter, who is 23 years old and lives in Cincinnati. She works in a bar and also a restaurant on the river. She drives an old beater car and works late hours. I fear for her safety. Closing the other bar and drinking while working alone worries me. She is lost. She had a difficult childhood. I was an alcoholic and we moved a lot and suffered financially. I blame myself for many of her problems. I am living with my elderly parents and just obtained a job in October. I found a diary and know that she has wanted to commit suicide during many dark days growing up. She also is drinking a lot. It hurts me to know that she is suffering. I want to help her. I am sober but I still do not have a car or an apartment. I have to use my Mother's car to get to and from work. Her Dad remarried and suddenly lost interest in her when she was in high school. He promised her many things and did not come thru. He has been very generous with his new wife and step children. She knows that I love her. She calls me when she is in trouble; but, I cannot stop thinking about how she is hurting now, lost, lonely, and feels there is no one in her life to depend upon and drinking so much. I see her and her hands are worn and chapped from so much work. I had no idea when she was in High School and I went out on the weekends to party with my friends, she really just wanted me home to be her Mother. I tried to justify it by saying "I don't bring men home, I don't live with another man". I can never get those important years back. Please, dear Lord, heal her heart and mind and take her in your arms. Show me how to be a good Mother to her and how to handle this at her age. God forgive me when I hurt her.

Please pray for safety for me and my husband. Our neighborhood is not a safe place. Please pray for my husband's salvation; also, pray for a man who attends a Bible study that I also attend. He says he's given up on life.

Please lift up my wife. She was diagnosed last week with colon cancer and is scheduled for surgery tomorrow (2/20). Lord continue to use this and give her comfort and peace as you work miracles. Please pray the cancer has not spread which so far we don't think it has. The blood work looked good. We have 3 children who do not know yet other than mom is having surgery. The Lord is already using this to draw us to each other and to Him so we know that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." Thank you for your prayers.

Praying for more of God's grace. My husband recently accepted a new position in Cincinnati; however, in order to knock out some debt, I have to stay here in Michigan with family until I am able to secure a job there. He is my best friend and I miss him terribly. I am really having a difficult time with this. I need more of God's grace to see me through this trial.

A friend of mine at work has requested I pray for her neighbor, Alisha. Alisha had cancer last year, and has gotten thru the treatments. The doctors have found another cyst. Please pray that this is not cancer. Please pray that God will heal her body, and comfort her. Thank you.
