Pray for a husband who had a massive stroke and is completely paralyzed on the left side. He is in a nursing home and will never walk again. He is very discouraged. Pray for his wife, who is caring for her mother with Alzheimer's, and trying to make ends meet. There is no income now since the husband can no longer work. Pray that they can get assistance from their church or some other resource. Pray for this wife who is very discouraged and does not see a way to make it through.

I need prayer. I am separated from my Husband. It has been almost a month now. He has left on my request because I suspect abuse of my 11-year-old Daughter. I need comfort today. It is our anniversary and I am wondering what can or should I be doing?

I need fasting and prayer. Heavenly father, I cry out to YOU. Before devil may snatch me, forgive all my sins. Deliver me completely from the devil's bondage (ugly thoughts, mind-, body- and soul-problems). Mentally and physically, I have become very, very weak. I have no more strength to fight. Look at my daughter. Send YOUR angels to protect us until we come to YOU from this earth. Shower YOUR blessings of peace. Convict my cruel husband to confess his sin of adultery and repent. Restore my 19 years of marriage. I have been waiting for YOUR answer since 4 years ago, with rolling tears, on my knee. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Mary

I Would like to pray for the church in America. We have grown up in a very prosperous country and have not been very appreciative. There has not been a difference between the people of the world and people of the church. We have spent years of being preoccupied with working to accumulate money to build better homes and buy stuff to fill it up and over the years becoming increasingly more concerned about self than the need of others. We don't even know our neighbors; and contact the neighborhood association or even the police if they don't keep their property up to our liking, instead of seeing that they have a need for help and go lend a hand. This was not the attitude of the people in the early church found in the book of ACTS. They were concerned with spreading the good news of JESUS. We are all guilty of becoming like the world and not sharing what God has done for us. I Have prayed for salvation for my family and friends, yet they have not been able to understand my concern. I had been given a sense that we are in need of revival and expressed this need to my pastor to no avail many years ago. I didn't understand what I was going through for years of depression; but understand more now. Have we Americanized the gospel and disregarded the Jewishness of JESUS? Have we based evidence of us being a Christian by how much wealth we have accumulated and not by how many people we have been concerned about to the point that we will be inconvenienced and give to others in need? Have we reasoned ourselves that we are okay and when faced with an uncomfortable warning disregarded that person as being crazy or out of the will of God? HAs the church looked at others who are desperately needing help as being beyond help and cast them aside and pass over to the other side? Shouldn't the church be more concerned with helping all and visiting the sick, those who have not been to church and those living within a 5 mile radius of the church to bring them to Christ? THere has lately been talk of people coming to an awareness of the need for Yeshua and his saving grace in other countries and many have accepted this invitation. I understand that there are now more Christians in China than we have in the UNITED States and even more Christians than Communists there also. Praise God!; But what about US? Even confessing Christians are not showing Christ to the people; and our country has turned everyone away from God to the point we have more shootings; and are blaming others for crimes committed. We are all responsible for this. Denying for years we have a problem and not truly turning to the one who can help by studying the Bible and putting the Old Testament and the New Testament together like it was intended to be used. IN the time that we have needed more biblical teaching we have taken it out of churches and gone to bigger churches full of people who are worshiping without understanding who we are worshiping. I Have wondered why we have taken Sunday Schools out of our churches for the past 30 years. We need more Jeremiahs who will gather the people and call a spade a spade. Why don't we have an hour of Bible study for all ages together in one group and then worship service? We are all guilty of praying for help and not understanding that we have some repenting and forgiveness to do first. HAve we not found healing because we are not coming to God on His terms; but with an entitlement attitude? The Bible does speak of blessings and curses, the love of God and God's wrath; yet this is not preached with understanding so we can make sure we are on the right track. Some people might be reading this and disregard it as coming from a crazy person. That is fine since that is the attitude others have taken when I have brought up the subject; But if I am right, then we should be begging our pastors for more teaching, repentance and then praying for restoration. The storm is raging. What are we going to do about it?
