What a difference one day makes! Praise God! Praise Jesus Christ! I cried all day yesterday after a horrible night with my parents. My father, who is very ill, was laying in bed not knowing if his next breath will be his last. I asked him if he was okay. He was in pain. I went in to check on him and laid down on the bed next to him. My Mother came into the room screaming and waving her hands and arms wildly saying I was doing something wrong and saying it over and over again. Dad, barely able to speak, was trying to calm Mom like he always does. I start to leave, devastated at such a vile, disgusting accusation from my own Mother and afraid she would try to harm me because of all her previous threats. I prayed. There is no car to leave and no place to go. My earnings are given to my parents for rent, utilities, food and gas.

I called my friend a Minister. Rev. Leslie was furious. She said "Kim, this abuse has been going on since I have known you! How much longer? Get out before something bad and horrible happens!" I knew she was right.

I called shelters, My children and my daughter said Grandma is Bi-polar and delusional. That's why they want nothing to do with her. She tells them what horrible kids they are and worse things about me.

I contemplated calling the police to get my Mother's car to her and obtain my personal belongings to go to a shelter or my son's. He was at work at his new job.

I pull up. My sister's car is there, another car and my father's car. I walk in puffy from crying, hoping to walk upstairs to the attic to my room, to put my things in trash bags and get out.

My Dad said, "Well, we used your money and bought a car. Do you want it or not?" I just stood there in shock. Here again, he is covering for my Mother; my ill father. How he had the strength to stand there and be strong was beyond me. He acted like he wasn't ill.

I was speechless. I said "Dad, last night..." He stopped me - not wanting to discuss it.

He said do you want it or not?

Mom acts nice.

I went out, looked at the car, grabbed a sandwich and went upstairs for the night. I laid on the bed disgusted - flash backs of my Mom doing mentally abusive things since I was a little girl in Kindergarden - then Dad would try to make it better and smooth things over.

I touched my Bible and prayed and the Holy Spirit filled me. I knew I went through what I did so that I could know what happened during my childhood and why I ended up like I am. It is now up to me to change. He provided me the car to get away from her.

My kids were very worried and upset. They understood because they had witnessed this behavior before. My children and I are closer than ever.

Thank you dear Lord Jesus Christ.

I need to read more of the Bible. When I move out back to the South Dayton area, I will find a Bible based church and further grow in my faith and service to him.

Praise Jesus Christ.

My friend of 29 years is going through a very hard time right now. His youngest daughter attempted suicide ending up in a coma and is in the hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She started breathing on her own so she was taken off of the ventilator today to see how much damage is actually done. They all have a very long rocky road ahead of them now; and I ask for all to pray that Jesus will touch the whole family in this great time of need. Thank you very, very much.

Thank you so much for the prayers. My fiance's brother has made it through the surgery (see request for 5/21). Now comes the hard part. The ultimate changes in his lifestyle. Please pray that this has the ripple effect to his children, siblings, and even the nieces and nephews. Amen

Heavenly father, please look at my child. Speak for me and show them, my cruel and adulterous husband, his mother and sister, that you are with me. They all give unbearable mental torture to me and my child. I could not speak a word. I could not leave a home because I have no support. Father, have mercy on me and my child. Open the doors to escape. I am waiting for your answer since 2 ½ years ago. I have hidden my identity, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Please pray for my fiance's brother. He is a believer but is facing a quadruple by-pass surgery tomorrow (Wed). He has just regained relationships with his children during the past two years and grandchildren who need him in their lives. While we want everything to go well, we are struggling with the realization that God may take him. He is only 55. Thank you.
