Join The Bridge Church in Tipp City as they welcome Taylor University's Playback Theatre!
Playback Theatre is interactive and spontaneous. Each show is unique because we base our material on stories from the audience. Performances are carried out by a team of actors, emcee (conductor) and musician
We’ll gather stories during the performance by simply asking the audience if anyone has a story they’d like to share. When someone shares a story from their seat, it is immediately “played back” by the actors, with a fresh perspective.
The number of stories varies with every performance. Sometimes people tell short stories. For example, one little boy raised his hand and shared, “Once we went to the beach and it was too cold to swim.” That was his whole story. After asking him a few more specific questions, we simply played back his experience. The second half of the performance is dedicated to longer stories that are more involved.

Playback Theatre sponsored by The Bridge in Tipp City is free and a light Breakfast Bar will open at 9:30 with the performance beginning at 10:00 AM.
