Hands Against Hunger™ is a unique family friendly program where people of all ages assemble critically needed food for hungry children and families. In the past 10 years, over 50,000 volunteers have produced nearly 30 million high protein meals requiring 2000 tons of ingredients. On Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 9 am – 12 noon, 450 Volunteers will come together to produce 150,000 meals for the displaced and homeless people in Texas and Louisiana. Hurricane Harvey is straining the emergency response efforts in multiple ways, including the need to provide 3 million meals a day to those who have lost their homes and businesses. Will you help pack food for our neighbors in Texas? Individuals, families, and groups welcomed. The public and press are invited to attend the special Hurricane Harvey Relief effort and to register on the website at www.TheChildrenAreWaiting.org or call 513-771-2244. Hands Against Hunger™ is a part of A Child’s Hope International located at 2430 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45241.
